Beginning on Thursday 7/31/2025, Farber Hill Road will partially re-open, allowing local traffic to have additional access to the area. The utility project is still ongoing, and the roadway is still closed to all thru-traffic between the hours 7:30am and 5:30pm. Utility crews will have the roadway closed to thru-traffic daily, with the exceptions of Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Residents who live on Farber Hill Road or any adjoining neighborhoods, can now use a second detour which should grant them additional access in and out of their respective neighborhoods.

Residents of Miller Drive, Decker Lane, Wetmore Drive, Twin Hills Drive, and Eagle Rock Drive can now enter and exit their neighborhoods via Wetmore Drive and Rockaway Valley Road. This route will allow residents to circumvent the work area, which is now south of Miller Drive.

All thru-traffic will be directed through a brief detour which consists of Rockaway Valley Road to Split Rock Road. BTPD will have officers on scene each day to assist motorists as needed.
