As part of a Township road resurfacing initiative, several streets and neighborhoods within the Township will experience traffic delays in the coming days as crews prepare to conduct milling and paving work. Road milling is scheduled for Thursday 9/11 and Friday 9/12. Road crews will be on site by 7:00am each morning and will work until 5:30pm. On these dates and times, the following streets will be affected:

Split Rock Road

Stone Road

Wyndham Court 

Cliffside Way

Briarcliff Lane

Thru-traffic attempting to travel through Split Rock Road into Rockaway Township will be diverted through a brief detour. Residents of Split Rock Road and all adjoining neighborhoods will have access to and from their homes, but should plan for traffic delays for these two days. Residents of Briarcliff Lane and Cliffside Way should expect delays as well. 

Arrangements have been made to ensure that school bus pick-ups and drop-offs remain relatively unaffected. BTPD will have officers on scene each day assisting with traffic. As of this time, paving is set to occur at a later date. Once paving dates are confirmed, additional correspondence will be issued to our residents.
